‘TESTING LIMITS TOGETHER’ asks a question of it’s clients. Do you want to be better?
How can individuals be better? How can teams, groups and organisations be better?
The answer is by focussing on, improving and examining ‘The little things’ we are TESTING LIMITS TOGETHER.
We work with groups and individuals to unlock the key to testing their limits.
TLT have worked with a vast range of people from professional athletes and teams, large and small corporate groups and children. We have customised programs to emphasise and implement steps and processes to achieve goals.
Every client we encounter has a variety of needs, aims and goals. Testing Limits Together work side by side with our clients to design a specific program to achieve the desired outcomes.
EAMON BAILEY
Eamon has 15 years policing experience in a variety of specialist and unique areas where resilience, mental toughness and team work are key attributes to succeed.
With a Rugby League background, playing and coaching at semi-professional levels and 9 years in a physically and mentally demanding squad, Eamon has achieved success working in this team environment.
His previous experience includes working with the North Queensland Cowboys, Brisbane Lions and Cricket Australia’s women’s high performance squad with a focus on enabling individuals and teams to achieve during physically and mentally demanding times and developing new skills for personal success.
DAN KENNEDY
Dan has over 13 years of policing experience and has spent 10 years in specialist areas building resilience, teamwork fundamentals and a professional outlook.
Dan has a background in rugby league in a professional and semi-professional capacity as a player and trainer. He has worked with the North Queensland Cowboys, Brisbane Lions and Cricket Australia’s women’s high performance squad.
Dan’s passion is for every participant to gain a sense of what they are truly capable of, to experience adaptability, teamwork and coping skills whilst working under pressure. He believes ‘Testing Limits Together’ provides a unique experience, reinforcing and defining team culture within a group.
BRETT DUKE
Brett has been heavily involved in community sport his entire life His passion is to educate, coach and mentor young athletes wanting to reach the next level both personally and in the sporting arena. He has a strong interest in all sports and is an avid AFL follower.
Growing up in country Victoria, before moving to the Sunshine Coast, he has now made Brisbane home.
Since completing his own competitive sport career, Brett has easily transitioned into coaching with a strong emphasis on assisting young athletes through personal development both on and off field.
Brett has a valuable interest in mental health and human behaviour. He continues to educate himself in these areas in an effort to assist young athletes to conquer any fears or reservations they may have that prove to be barriers moving forward in life and sport.
Brett has assisted in many sporting genres including AFL , NRL , QCUP, Qld cricket and numerous other community club teams, to explore what there respective team and individual performances can achieve.
If Brett gave you one piece of advice it would be “Stay in the Contest”
SIMON TAYLER
During the past 15 years, Simon has worked as a member of Queensland Police Service. His local and international journey has taken him from the remote gulf community of Mornington Island to becoming a senior member of the elite Special Emergency Response Team. His resilience and leadership skills, shown during his tenure in the unit, have enabled him to promote to Officer in Charge of the largest operational station in the state, Brisbane City.
His passion is working with industry and professional sporting teams to develop essential skills. Simon has worked with the Brisbane Lions, Queensland Bulls and most recently the Australian women’s cricket high performance squad.
Simon’s focus includes providing all participants with a truly unique learning experience.
GARY ASCHENBERGER
Gary has over 25yrs operating in a small team, highly stressful, tactical policing environment and over the last 12yrs has also been involved in delivering training in team building with professional sporting teams contributing to their success at the highest level of competition. He has also worked as a consultant to national sporting teams at domestic and international competitions and has been officially recognised by those teams as having outstanding ‘team work’ ethics by being given the accolade of ‘Best Team Work’ whilst on an international tour with Cricket Australia.
MATT BLUNN
Matt has over 20 years policing experience including an extensive history leading operators during high risk critical incidents.
Matt has worked both nationally and internationally, developing his experience across a wide range of environments and high risk situations. He has recognised the need to develop staff to think laterally under pressure during high pressure circumstances.
Mental power, strength and focus are a necessity when facing danger, heavy competition or any high pressure activities that can confront athletes, operators and the general population during many facets of their life. The ability to stay in the moment at crucial times is the basic key to success.
Matt’s ability to develop staff and improve mental process under pressure have been the cornerstone of the teams he has lead and worked with. His journey has allowed him to be mentored by some of the world’s leading experts in tactical decision making. It is these lessons that Matt brings to any learning environment. His philosophy is simple, work hard at your craft, trust yourself and stay in the moment.
